Car
From any location within Superior National Forest, head towards MN-61 S. Follow MN-61 S for approximately 1 hour until you reach Duluth. Once you arrive in Duluth, continue on MN-61 S which turns into Lake Ave as you approach the waterfront. After about 1 mile on Lake Ave, you will see signs for the Aerial Lift Bridge. The bridge is located at 601 S Lake Ave, Duluth, MN 55802. There is typically free street parking available nearby but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can use the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) buses. From a point in Superior National Forest, take a taxi or rideshare to the nearest DTA bus stop. Once you are at a bus stop, board the bus heading to Duluth. You will want to take Line 10 (which goes towards downtown Duluth). The bus ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Get off at the stop closest to the Aerial Lift Bridge, which is near Lake Ave. From there, it’s a short walk to the bridge. Be sure to check the DTA schedule for the latest routes and fares, which typically cost around $2 per ride.
