Car

Once you enter the park, follow the signs to the Grand Loop Road. Continue along the Grand Loop Road until you reach the Mud Volcano Area, which is located just south of the Fishing Bridge Junction. Look for the Mud Volcano parking area on the right side of the road. Parking is free, but note that there is a park entrance fee of $35 per vehicle, valid for 7 days.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, you can take the Yellowstone Shuttle Service, which operates from various points in the Yellowstone Valley. Check the shuttle schedule ahead of time, as services may vary by season. Once on the shuttle, ask the driver to drop you off at the Mud Volcano stop.
