If you are traveling by car, start from Dawei, the capital of the Tanintharyi Region. Drive south on the Highway 8 (Dawei-Myeik Road) towards Myeik for approximately 130 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the coast as you approach the town of Myeik. Once you reach Myeik, head towards the Myeik jetty, which is the main departure point for boats heading to Horse Shoe Island. There is limited parking available near the jetty.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Dawei to Myeik. Buses are available at the Dawei bus station and the journey takes around 3-4 hours. Upon arriving at Myeik, you will need to take a tricycle taxi (locally known as a 'trishaw') to the Myeik jetty. The fare for the tricycle taxi is usually around 1,000 to 2,000 MMK (Myanmar Kyat).
