Car Rental
To reach NamibRand Nature Reserve from Etosha National Park by car, start your journey by exiting Etosha via the Anderson Gate if you are in the southern area of the park. Drive south on the C38 road towards the town of Outjo for approximately 50 km. From Outjo, continue on the C38 until you reach the junction with the C40 road. Turn left onto the C40 road towards the town of Otjiwarongo. After about 60 km, you will need to turn onto the B1 highway heading south. Drive for approximately 150 km until you reach the junction with the C27 road. Turn left onto the C27 and follow it for about 100 km. This road will take you towards the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Keep an eye out for the reserve's signposts along the route. Make sure to have your entry fees ready as there may be costs associated with entering the reserve.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Etosha National Park to the nearest major town, Outjo. From Outjo, you will need to arrange for a shuttle or a taxi service to take you to NamibRand Nature Reserve. Please note that public transport options may be limited, so it is advisable to check schedules in advance and confirm taxi or shuttle availability. Costs for the bus may vary, typically ranging from 100 to 300 Namibian Dollars, while a taxi or shuttle could cost around 500 to 800 Namibian Dollars depending on the distance and number of passengers.
