  • Public Bus

    From downtown Lincoln, walk to the '10th & O' bus stop. Take the StarTran Bus Route 44 towards 'O Street & 48th' and ride for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop '48th & Q' and transfer to Bus Route 45 towards 'Westroads Mall'. Ride for another 25 minutes. Finally, get off at the 'Flanagan Blvd & Boys Town' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Boys Town National Landmark.

    Start at the Haymarket area in downtown Lincoln. Head south on South 7th Street and then take a left onto P Street. Continue on P Street until you reach 20th Street and take a right. Follow 20th Street until you reach 'O' Street, where you will take a left. Continue on O Street until you reach 48th Street, then take a right. Follow 48th Street north until you reach Flanagan Blvd. Take a left onto Flanagan Blvd, and you will reach Boys Town National Landmark after a few blocks. This route is approximately 10 miles and will take about an hour to bike.

    If you are walking from the downtown area, head towards the Lincoln City Square on 13th Street. From there, walk west on O Street, which will turn into 'West O Street' as you leave downtown. Continue walking along O Street for about 3.5 miles until you reach 48th Street. Turn left on 48th Street and continue for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Flanagan Blvd. Boys Town National Landmark will be on your right after a few blocks. This walk will take approximately 2 hours.
