If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the address 27792 Ski Hill Loop, Honey Creek, IA 51542. From central locations in Loess Hills, head towards Highway 75. Follow signs for I-29 N and merge onto the interstate. Continue on I-29 N for about 15 miles until you reach Exit 47 for US-34 E towards Council Bluffs. After exiting, merge onto US-34 E and follow the signs toward Honey Creek. Take a left onto Ski Hill Loop, and you will find the Loess Hills Lodge at the end of the road. Make sure to check for any parking fees, which may apply at the nature center.

You may need to take a bus to a central hub in Council Bluffs and transfer to a local service that heads towards Honey Creek. Once you reach Honey Creek, you can either walk or take a taxi to the lodge. Be prepared for a walk of about 2 miles from the nearest bus stop to the lodge. It is advisable to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as service may be limited, especially on weekends.
