Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you are near downtown Omaha, start by heading to the Omaha Community Playhouse located at 6915 Cass St. Take the Metro Transit bus Route 2 (Orange Line) towards the South Omaha area. The bus will take you through various neighborhoods. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 13th St & L St. From there, you will need to walk south on 13th St for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Mt Vernon Gardens at 6011 S 13th St.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services in Omaha. Start from the Gene Leahy Mall in downtown Omaha. Head south on a bike path along 10th St. Continue on the bike path until you reach the intersection of 10th St and Q St. Turn right onto Q St and head west until you reach 13th St. Take a left on 13th St and continue biking south for about 1.5 miles until you arrive at Mt Vernon Gardens, located at 6011 S 13th St.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the South Omaha area, you can walk to Mt Vernon Gardens. Start at South Omaha's Plaza de la Raza located at 24th St & Q St. Head south on 24th St until you reach the intersection with L St. Take a left on L St and walk east until you reach 13th St. Turn right on 13th St and continue south for about 0.5 miles to reach Mt Vernon Gardens at 6011 S 13th St.
