Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Bhaktapur Durbar Square, start walking towards the main road (Bhaktapur - Kathmandu road). Head west on the main street and continue for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the bus park. From there, turn left and walk along the road for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the outskirts of Bhaktapur. You will see signs leading to the bus stop for Kathmandu. Once you reach the bus station, take a local bus that is heading towards Kathmandu. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive in Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, ask locals for directions to Paknajol Marg; it is a well-known area. From there, walk towards Paknajol Marg 16, which is near Rest up Kathmandu Hostel. Look for Overland Trek Nepal.

• Cycling

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Bhaktapur. Start from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and head towards the main road. Cycle west along Bhaktapur - Kathmandu road for about 10-15 minutes. As you approach the bus park, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Kathmandu. Continue cycling for around 20 minutes until you reach the intersection. Once you arrive at the bus stop, you can secure your bicycle and take a local bus to Kathmandu. After arriving in Kathmandu, ask for directions to Paknajol Marg 16, where Overland Trek Nepal is located.

• Taxi or Rickshaw

  If you prefer not to walk or cycle, you can take a taxi or a rickshaw from anywhere in Bhaktapur. Simply tell the driver to take you to Paknajol Marg 16, Kathmandu, which is near Rest up Kathmandu Hostel. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip, as taxis in the area may not use meters. Once you arrive, you will find Overland Trek Nepal located before Rest up Kathmandu Hostel.
