If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Kathmandu. Drive on the Prithvi Highway towards Naubise. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit for Thankot and then follow the signs towards Chandragiri. Once you reach Chandragiri, use GPS coordinates 27.71547, 85.2205493 to navigate to the Sunset Viewpoint. The last part of the journey will be on an unnamed road, which can be reached from the main road in Chandragiri. Parking is available near the viewpoint.

To reach Sunset Viewpoint via public transportation, take a microbus or local bus from Kathmandu to Chandragiri. Buses frequently depart from the central bus station. The fare typically ranges from NPR 100 to NPR 200. Once you arrive in Chandragiri, you may need to hire a local taxi or use a ride-sharing app to reach the Sunset Viewpoint. The taxi fare should be around NPR 300 to NPR 500, depending on your negotiation skills and the exact drop-off point.
