Start at the main entrance of Nagarkot, where you'll find the local shops and restaurants. Head south on the main road (Nagarkot to Bhaktapur Road) for about 4 kilometers. You will pass through small villages and beautiful landscapes. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will reach the village of Changu Narayan. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Once you enter the square, follow signs towards Dattatraya Square. The Wooden Art Museum is located at MCFP+86P, Bhaktapur 44800, just a short walk from the square. It should take around 1.5 to 2 hours total.

From Nagarkot, walk to the bus stop at the main junction. Catch a local bus heading towards Bhaktapur. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Bhaktapur, get off at the Bhaktapur Durbar Square stop. From the square, walk towards Dattatraya Square, which is about a 10-minute walk.
