Getting There

Trekking
From the center of Namche Bazaar, head towards the main trail leading out of the village. Look for signs pointing to Everest Base Camp (EBC). The trail is well-marked and will take you up towards the Khumbu region. As you ascend, you will pass through lush forests and may encounter local wildlife. Continue on this trail for about 2-3 hours until you reach the village of Tengboche, where you can visit the famous Tengboche Monastery. This is a great spot to rest and take in the stunning views of Everest and other peaks.

Trekking
After visiting Tengboche, continue your trek towards Dingboche. Follow the trail that descends into the Imja Valley and then ascends again towards Dingboche. This segment of the trek will take around 3-4 hours. As you make your way, enjoy the breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and the surrounding mountains. Dingboche is a good place to rest and acclimatize before heading towards Everest Base Camp.

Trekking
From Dingboche, the next leg will take you to Lobuche. The trail is a mix of rocky paths and well-defined trekking routes, taking about 2-3 hours. You will pass through the memorials of climbers who have perished on Everest, which serves as a solemn reminder of the mountain's challenges. Once you reach Lobuche, you can rest and prepare for the final push towards Everest Base Camp.

Trekking
On your final ascent to Everest Base Camp, leave Lobuche early in the morning. The trek to EBC takes approximately 3-4 hours. Follow the trail that leads past the Khumbu Glacier. The path can be rocky and challenging, so take your time and stay hydrated. As you approach Base Camp, you will see colorful tents and climbers preparing for their expeditions. Once at Everest Base Camp, take in the incredible views of the Khumbu Icefall and the majestic Everest itself.
