From there, you can take bus line 1 or 2 towards the city center.

From Amsterdam, head to the nearest bus station that has direct connections to Leiden. For example, you can take bus line 404 from Amsterdam Sloterdijk station to Leiden. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Leiden, you can walk to Steenstraat 1B, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head east on Stationsweg, turn right onto Breestraat, and continue straight until you reach Steenstraat.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike in Amsterdam and cycle to Leiden. The distance is approximately 40 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Head south towards Amstelveen, then follow the signs towards Leiden.
