From Haarlem city center, head south on the Gedempte Oude Gracht towards the Bakenessergracht. Turn right onto Bakenessergracht and continue until you reach the main road, the Kruisweg. Cross the street and take the bus number 300 or 350 towards Amsterdam. Get off at the 'Amsterdam, Centraal Station' stop. Once at the station, follow the signs to the tram station and take tram line 13 or 17 towards 'Zuid'. Get off at the 'Westermarkt' stop. The Descartes House is located at Westermarkt 6, just a short walk from the tram stop.
