Continue down Breestraat until you reach the intersection with the Rappenau. Turn left onto Rappenau, and follow it until you reach the Vrouwensteeg. Continue straight on Vrouwensteeg for two blocks until you hit the waterway (Oude Rijn). Cross the bridge over the water and take a right onto the canal path. Walk along the canal until you reach the intersection with the Haarlemmerstraatweg. Turn left onto Haarlemmerstraatweg, and after a short walk, you will see the sculpture 'Homunculus loxodontus (The one who waits, Ждун)' located at 2333 ZA Leiden, on the left side by the park area.

From the center of Leiden, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start at the Markt and head towards the Breestraat. Continue to Haarlemmerstraatweg, cycling straight down until you reach the intersection with the Oude Rijn. At the intersection, take a right and continue to follow the canal path. As you cycle along the canal, keep an eye out for the sculpture 'Homunculus loxodontus (The one who waits, Ждун)' at 2333 ZA Leiden, which will be on your left side after crossing the bridge.
