If you are driving from central Zaanstreek, take the N202 road towards Amsterdam. Continue on the N202 until you reach the A8 highway. Merge onto the A8 and follow the signs for Amsterdam. Once on the A8, take exit 3 towards Amsterdam-Zuid. Continue on the S109 road, and then take a left onto the Eerste Sweelinckstraat. The Andre Hazes monument will be located on your right. Parking may be limited in the area, so look for nearby public parking facilities.

From Zaanstreek, take a train from Zaandam Station to Amsterdam Zuid Station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Zuid Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop. Take tram line 5 towards Amstelveen and get off at the stop 'Zuid'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head southeast on the Van der Boechorststraat, then turn left onto the Eerste Sweelinckstraat. The Andre Hazes monument will be located on your left.
