Follow NJ-94 N for approximately 4 miles until you reach the parking area on the right. This is the main access point for the Mt. Tammany Red Dot Trail. Note that there is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle.

    If you prefer public transportation, take NJ Transit train line from New York City to the Hackettstown station. From there, you can catch a local bus (Lazurus Line) that connects to the Delaware Water Gap area. Get off at the stop nearest to the Mt. Tammany trailhead.
