Getting There

  • Car

    From Bandelier National Monument, start by taking NM-4 North towards Los Alamos. Follow NM-4 for approximately 24 miles. You will pass through the beautiful Valles Caldera National Preserve. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Jemez Springs. After about 24 miles, you will arrive at the junction; continue straight onto NM-4. Jemez Soda Dam will be on your right at 19219 NM-4, Jemez Springs, NM 87025. There is no entry fee for visiting the Soda Dam, but be cautious of parking regulations.

  • Public Transportation

    Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Jemez Soda Dam from Bandelier National Monument. However, you can take the NM Rail Runner Express from Santa Fe to Bernalillo. From there, you would need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Jemez Soda Dam.
