From the Sandia Peak Tramway parking area, head southwest on Sandia Crest Road. Continue on this road for approximately 6.5 miles until you reach NM-337. Turn left onto NM-337 and follow it for about 2 miles. Then, take a right onto Bear Canyon Road. Follow Bear Canyon Road for about 1 mile until you reach the Bear Canyon Scenic Easement entrance, which will be on your right. Parking may be available nearby.

From Sandia Peak Tramway, take the ABQ Ride Bus Route 2 (the stop is located near the tramway). Ride the bus towards the 'Cedar Crest' stop. After approximately 25 minutes, disembark at the 'Cedar Crest' stop. From there, you can walk along NM-337 for about 0.5 miles until you reach Bear Canyon Road. Turn right onto Bear Canyon Road and follow it for about 1 mile until you arrive at the Bear Canyon Scenic Easement entrance.
