Car
If you are driving, start on NM-337. Head northeast on NM-337 from the Manzano Mountains area. Continue on NM-337 for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with NM-66. Turn left (west) onto NM-66 and follow it for about 1.5 miles. You will see the Tijeras Canyon Historical Marker on your right side. There’s parking available along the roadside.

After about 30-40 minutes, disembark at the stop closest to NM-66 (Tijeras).
