From I-10, take the exit for NM-70 towards Las Cruces. Follow NM-70 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with University Avenue. Turn right onto University Avenue, then take a left onto S. Solano Drive. Continue straight until you see signs for the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument. There are several access points, including the Aguirre Springs Recreation Area, which is about 15 miles east of Las Cruces. Be prepared for a scenic drive through the desert landscape.
