    From Lake Placid, take the public bus operated by the Adirondack Transit Lines. Board the bus at the Lake Placid Depot located at 1 Main St. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times to Blue Mountain Lake, which may not run frequently. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride along NY-86 and NY-30, which should take about 30-40 minutes. The bus will drop you off at a stop near the intersection of NY-30 and NY-28. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Adirondack Experience, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Lake Placid. Start your ride on Main St heading south, then take a left onto NY-86. Continue to follow NY-86 until you reach the junction with NY-30. Turn left onto NY-30 and follow this road for approximately 15 miles. The Adirondack Experience will be on your right-hand side. The ride is scenic but be cautious of traffic, as some sections may have limited shoulder space.

    Walking from Lake Placid to the Adirondack Experience is quite a long trek, approximately 15 miles. If you're feeling adventurous, start on Main St heading south and follow NY-86 until you reach the junction with NY-30. Continue on NY-30 heading south for about 5 miles. Although this route is not pedestrian-friendly for the entire journey, you can find scenic spots to rest and enjoy the views. This option is recommended only for those who are physically prepared for a long-distance walk.
