Walking
If you're in central Montauk, head east on Main Street towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Elmwood Avenue. Turn left onto South Elmwood Avenue and walk until you reach the end of the road. Here, you will see the Montauk Harbor. From there, you can follow the waterfront path, which will lead you along the marina area. Keep walking along the water's edge, and soon you will see the entrance to Star Island Marina on your right at 100 Star Island Rd. The walk is approximately 30 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.

If you have access to a bike rental in Montauk, start at the Montauk Village area and head towards East Lake Drive. Ride along East Lake Drive, enjoying the scenic views of Lake Montauk. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Star Island Road. Turn right onto Star Island Road, and the marina will be on your left. This biking route is about 10-15 minutes depending on your speed and is a great way to enjoy the fresh air.

From Montauk Train Station, take the Suffolk County Transit bus route S92 towards East Hampton. Get off at the stop for East Lake Drive and South Elmwood Avenue. From there, walk east along East Lake Drive until you reach the junction with Star Island Road. Turn left onto Star Island Road, and the marina will be on your left. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop is about 10 minutes.
