Getting There

  • Subway

    Take the 4 or 5 subway line to the Bowling Green station. Exit the station and walk east on State Street towards Battery Park. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to The Battery, a beautiful park located at the southern tip of Manhattan.

  • Subway

    If you're near the 1 subway line, take it to the South Ferry station. Once you exit the subway, walk north along State Street. You will reach The Battery shortly as you approach the waterfront.

  • Bus

    Take the M20 or M5 bus to the Battery Park City area. The M20 bus stops at the Battery Park City Esplanade, where you can enjoy views of the harbor and access The Battery park.

    If you are in the Financial District, walk to the southern tip of Manhattan. Head towards the water by walking down Wall Street and then turning left on State Street, which will lead you directly to The Battery.
