    From Yonkers, you can catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 from the Yonkers Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards the Bronx. Stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes until you reach the Fordham Road & Grand Concourse stop. Transfer to the Bx12 bus towards Pelham Bay Park and ride it for about 20 minutes until you reach the E 91st St & 5th Ave stop. From there, walk east on E 91st St for about 2 minutes to reach the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum at 2 E 91st St.

  • Train

    Begin your journey at the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Grand Central. From there, transfer to the 4, 5, or 6 subway line at Grand Central Station. Take the subway to 86th St station. Exit the station and walk west on E 86th St for 5 blocks until you reach 5th Ave. Turn left and continue south for 3 blocks to E 91st St, where you will find the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
