Subway
From Yonkers, walk to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street station. Once you arrive at 125th Street, transfer to the A or C subway line heading downtown (towards Brooklyn). Ride for 7 stops until you reach the 59th Street – Columbus Circle station. From there, exit the station and walk east along West 60th Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Central Park. Continue heading east for one block and you will find Heckscher Playground located on East 65th Street.

Bus
From Yonkers, find a bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus service. Take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop at 5th Avenue and 65th Street. After exiting the bus, walk one block east along 65th Street into Central Park. Heckscher Playground will be located on your left.

Walking
If you are already in Yonkers city center, you can walk to the nearest Metro-North station. Follow Main Street heading south until you reach the Yonkers Metro-North station. From there, take the train to Grand Central Terminal. Upon arrival at Grand Central, transfer to the 7 subway line heading towards Flushing. After 3 stops, switch to the A or C subway line at 42nd Street – Port Authority Bus Terminal, heading towards downtown. Alight at 59th Street – Columbus Circle and walk east along West 60th Street for about 5 minutes to reach Heckscher Playground on East 65th Street.
