Ferry
Start your journey at the Auckland Ferry Terminal located at 99 Quay Street, Auckland CBD. Purchase a ticket for the Waiheke Island ferry, which operates regularly. Once you board the ferry, enjoy a scenic 40-minute ride across the Hauraki Gulf to Waiheke Island. When you arrive at the Matiatia Wharf, exit the ferry and follow the signs to the bus stop nearby.

At the Matiatia Wharf bus stop, catch the 'Onetangi' bus (Route 50) which will take you directly towards Onetangi Bay. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Make sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach Onetangi Bay or check the bus stops along the route. The bus will stop near the Onetangi Beach.

Once you arrive at Onetangi Beach, if you want to explore the surrounding area, you can walk along the beach or head to nearby attractions such as cafes or scenic spots. To reach 27 Garratt Road, Onetangi, head east along the beach and then take a left onto Garratt Road. It’s a short 10-minute walk from the beach.
