Bus
Start at the Christchurch Central Bus Station. Take the Number 28 bus towards Lyttelton. This bus runs regularly and will take you through the beautiful scenery of the Port Hills. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Charteris Bay' stop. From there, walk along Marine Drive for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Orton Bradley Park, which is located on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Christchurch. Start from the city center and head towards the Port Hills along the 'Lyttelton Road'. After about 8 km, you will reach the junction for Marine Drive. Turn left onto Marine Drive and continue for another 4 km until you reach Orton Bradley Park. The ride offers stunning views of the harbor and surrounding hills.

For those keen on walking, you can start at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Head south towards the Lyttelton Harbour, taking the 'Bridle Path'. This scenic route is about 8 km long and will take you through the hills. Once you arrive in Lyttelton, you can continue to walk along Marine Drive for another 5 km until you reach Orton Bradley Park. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the journey.
