Start your journey from the central city area of Christchurch. Head to the bus stop at the bus interchange located on Lichfield Street. Take the number 28 bus towards Lyttelton. From the bus stop, walk towards the waterfront, following the signs for the ferry terminal. The ferry service to Otamahua / Quail Island operates from here.
