Getting There

Car

If you are driving from Te Anau, take the Te Anau-Milford Highway (State Highway 94) heading towards Milford Sound. After about 60 km, watch for the turn-off to McLean Falls. Turn left onto McLean Falls Road and continue for about 5 km until you reach the car park. From the car park, it's a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) through the forest to reach Marian Falls.
Public Transportation

Take a bus from Te Anau to the Milford Sound area. Several companies operate buses that travel along the Te Anau-Milford Highway. Make sure to inquire if they stop at or near McLean Falls, as services may vary. If the bus does not stop directly at the falls, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service from the nearest drop-off point to the McLean Falls car park, which is about 5 km away.
Walking

Once you have parked your car or arrived by bus, follow the marked walking path from the McLean Falls car park. The trail is well-maintained and takes about 15 minutes to walk. The path leads you through lush native bush, and you will hear the sounds of the water as you approach Marian Falls.
