Start from the Kaikoura Visitor Centre located at 1 West End, Kaikoura. Head south on West End towards the Esplanade. Continue until you reach the Esplanade, then turn left. Follow the Esplanade along the coastline, enjoying views of the ocean. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Scarborough Street. Turn left onto Scarborough Street and continue walking until you reach 274 Scarborough Street. Look for the signs indicating the Kaikoura Lookout.
