Walking
Start at the Kaikoura Visitor Centre located at 96 West End. From there, head south on West End towards Beach Road. Turn left onto Beach Road and continue walking until you reach the Esplanade. Follow the Esplanade along the coast, enjoying the views of the ocean. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the end of the Esplanade, where you will see a sign for the Kaikoura Peninsula Walkway. Follow the walkway, which will lead you towards the Kaikoura Peninsula. Continue on this path, which will take approximately 30 minutes. As you walk, keep an eye out for the stunning coastal views and wildlife. The Wood Teepee is located near the end of the Peninsula Walkway.
