Once you arrive at Upper Hutt Station, transfer to the local bus number 110 towards Stokes Valley. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Akatarawa Road' stop. From the bus stop, walk along Akatarawa Road for about 1.2 kilometers. Staglands Wildlife Reserve & Café will be on your left at 2362 Akatarawa Road.
