If you are starting from the Gisborne city center, head east on Gladstone Road towards the intersection with Customhouse Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Childers Road. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the first intersection with Lytton Road. Turn right onto Lytton Road and keep walking for another 10 minutes. You will see the Historic Places Aotearoa on your left at 175 Lytton Road. Look for signage indicating the Historical Society.
