Bus
From Wellington Central, walk to the Wellington Bus Interchange located at 81-83 Bunny Street. Take the Metlink bus route 200 towards Paraparaumu. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Alight at the Raumati Beach stop, which is close to the beach area. From the bus stop, walk towards the beach, and you will be just a short walk from the scenic Raumati Beach.

Head to the Wellington Railway Station located at 1 Bunny Street. Purchase a ticket for the Kapiti Line train heading towards Waikanae. After about 50 minutes, disembark at the Raumati Station. From the station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Raumati Beach. Follow the signs towards Raumati South, and then walk along the pathway leading to the beach.

Cycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Wellington. Start from the waterfront and follow the cycle paths heading north towards the Hutt Road. Continue along the shared path that leads to the Kapiti Coast. The ride to Raumati Beach is approximately 30 km and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Raumati, follow the signs to the beach.
