At Luggate, turn onto State Highway 8, and follow the signs to the town of Cardrona. Continue on this highway until you reach the junction with State Highway 6 again, heading towards Queenstown. Instead of going towards Queenstown, continue straight onto the access road leading to Mount Aspiring National Park. Look for the signs directing you to the Rob Roy Track. The parking lot is located at the end of the access road, where you will find the trailhead.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Wanaka to the nearest drop-off point near the park entrance.
