Driving
From Mount Cook National Park, head south on State Highway 80 towards Twizel. After approximately 54 kilometers, you will reach Twizel. Continue on State Highway 8 towards Lake Tekapo. After about 25 kilometers, you will see signs for Lake Tekapo. Follow the signs, and once you reach Lake Tekapo, look for Lake Tekapo Airport on State Highway 8. Air Safaris Tekapo is located at the airport. Make sure to check the flight schedule in advance.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Mount Cook Village to Twizel. Several services operate this route. Once in Twizel, you will need to catch a taxi or shuttle service to Lake Tekapo, as public transport does not run directly to the airport. The distance from Twizel to Lake Tekapo is about 25 kilometers, and taxi fares may range from NZD $50 to $70 depending on the service. Once you arrive at the airport, Air Safaris Tekapo is located there.
