Car
If you are driving from Mount Cook Village, take State Highway 80 (SH80) south towards Twizel. Continue on SH80 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with State Highway 8 (SH8). Turn right onto SH8 and continue for about 50 km. Look for signs directing you to Lake Tekapo. As you enter Lake Tekapo, follow the signs to the Town Domain, where Billy the Bard is located. You can park at the nearby parking area.

Public Transportation
Take the InterCity bus service from Mount Cook Village to Lake Tekapo. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Lake Tekapo, walk towards the Town Domain. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on State Highway 8 until you reach the Town Domain; Billy the Bard is located within this area.
