    If you are driving, start from the Aoraki/Mount Cook Village. Head east on Bowen Drive towards the Mount Cook lookout. Follow Bowen Drive for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the parking area for the Governors Bush Walk, which is clearly marked. There is no cost for parking.

    If you are taking public transportation, board the bus service that operates between Queenstown and Aoraki/Mount Cook. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Aoraki/Mount Cook Village, you can either walk to the Governors Bush Walk (approximately a 20-minute walk) or take a short taxi ride (5 minutes) to the start of the trail. The taxi fare is typically around NZD 15. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary.

    From the Aoraki/Mount Cook Village, walk along the Main Road towards the Mount Cook lookout. After about 1 kilometer, turn onto Bowen Drive and continue straight for another 500 meters. The entrance to the Governors Bush Walk will be on your left. The trailhead is well-marked, and the walk itself is a short, scenic loop.
