If you're traveling by car, head towards Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park from either Twizel or Omarama. Follow the State Highway 80, which leads directly into the park. Once you reach the park entrance, continue on Hooker Valley Road. White Horse Hill Campground is located at 227 Hooker Valley Road. Look for the signs indicating the campground as you approach the area. The drive is approximately 30 minutes from Twizel.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Twizel to Mount Cook village. The bus service operates several times a day, and you can check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive at Mount Cook village, you will need to either walk or catch a shuttle service to White Horse Hill Campground. The campground is about a 5-10 minute walk from the village. Alternatively, inquire at the visitor center in the village for any shuttle services available directly to the campground.

If you're already within the Mount Cook National Park and prefer to walk, from Mount Cook village, head towards Hooker Valley Road. Follow the road signs that direct you to White Horse Hill Campground. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 30 minutes. Enjoy the stunning views along the way!
