If you are in the Nelson city center, start at the Nelson i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 74 Trafalgar Street. From there, head east on Trafalgar Street towards Hardy Street. Turn right onto Hardy Street and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep walking straight until you reach 400 Hardy Street, where the Centre of New Zealand Access is located in the Maitai area.

Begin your journey at the Nelson Bus Station located at 1 Bridge Street. Check the local bus timetable and board a bus heading towards Maitai. Get off at the stop closest to Hardy Street. From the bus stop, walk towards Hardy Street, then turn right and continue walking until you reach 400 Hardy Street, the location of the Centre of New Zealand Access.
