Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in central Nelson, start at the Nelson i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 74 Trafalgar Street. From the i-SITE, head south along Trafalgar Street until you reach the intersection with Hardy Street. Turn right onto Hardy Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Tasman Street. Turn left onto Tasman Street. Continue straight for about 600 meters. Huangshi Garden will be on your right at Tasman Street, Nelson 7010.

    From central Nelson, you can take the local bus service that operates along Tasman Street. Head to the nearest bus stop on Trafalgar Street and catch a bus heading towards Stoke. Make sure to check the bus timetable for the latest schedules. Disembark at the stop nearest to Tasman Street. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance along Tasman Street, and Huangshi Garden will be on your right.
