Walking
From the center of New Plymouth, head east along Devon Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carrington Street. Turn left onto Carrington Street and follow it as it becomes Molesworth Street. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with State Highway 3. Cross the highway and continue straight onto Bell Block Road. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Antonia Place. Mangati Reserve is located at 19A Antonia Place, on your left.

From New Plymouth's central bus terminal, take a bus heading towards Bell Block. You can catch the bus number 1 towards Bell Block. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the nearest stop to Antonia Place. From there, walk along Bell Block Road heading towards Antonia Place. Turn left onto Antonia Place, and you will find Mangati Reserve at 19A Antonia Place. The total journey will take about 30-40 minutes including waiting times.
