    From the Paihia Wharf, head southwest on Marsden Road towards Bayview Road. Continue straight onto Puketona Road and follow it for about 5.5 km. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the turnoff for Ngunguru Road. Once you reach Ngunguru Road, turn left and continue for approximately 1.5 km. You will see Whangarei Falls on your right. The falls are located at 6 Ngunguru Road, Tikipunga, Whangārei.

    From Paihia, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Marsden Road. Take the bus heading to Whangārei (check the schedule for specific times). Once you arrive at Whangārei, get off at the Whangārei Central Bus Terminal. From there, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Ngunguru Road. If you take a taxi, instruct the driver to take you to 6 Ngunguru Road, Tikipunga. If you choose the local bus, ensure it goes to Tikipunga, and get off at the nearest stop to the falls.
