Start at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 1167 Fenton Street, Rotorua. From there, catch the 'Rotorua to Whakarewarewa' bus service. Make sure to check the current bus schedule online or at the i-SITE. You will need to purchase a ticket from the bus driver. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Whakarewarewa, which is the village known for its geothermal activity.
