Walking
If you're starting from Rotorua's central area, head south on Fenton Street towards the intersection with Pukuatua Street. Continue straight as Fenton Street becomes Hinemaru Street. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the end of Hinemaru Street, where it intersects with the lakefront. At this point, turn right and follow the pathway along the lake until you reach the Rotorua Museum. From the museum, follow the signs towards Whakarewarewa, which is located approximately 3 kilometers further. You can either continue walking along the road or catch a local bus (see bus options below) to reach Whakarewarewa. Once you arrive in Whakarewarewa, look for signs directing you to the Meeting Point for Guided Concerts & Cultural Performances.
