If you are in the Rotorua city center, start at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1170 Fenton Street. Head south on Fenton Street towards the lake, then turn right onto Victoria Street. Continue on Victoria Street until it becomes Hemo Road. Follow Hemo Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach 20 Hemo Road, where Pohutu Geyser is located. The walk should take approximately 25 minutes.
