Bus
Start at Rotorua Central, where you can catch the local bus service. Look for the bus stop at the corner of Fenton Street and Hinemoa Street. Board the bus heading towards Tapapa. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you are going to Te Waihou (Leslie Road) Car Park. The bus will drop you off near the intersection of Leslie Road and State Highway 5.

From the bus stop, head east along Leslie Road. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards the Te Waihou Walkway. The car park is located at the end of Leslie Road, and you will find a designated area for visitors.

Bike Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the several rental shops in Rotorua. Start your journey from the city center and follow the cycle paths leading out towards Tapapa. The route is mostly flat and scenic, making it a pleasant ride. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach Leslie Road. Follow the road to the Te Waihou (Leslie Road) Car Park.
