Car
If you are driving from central Tasman, head southwest on State Highway 60. Continue on SH60 for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Murchison. After Murchison, look for signs indicating Kawatiri Historic Railway Walk. Turn left onto Kawatiri Road and follow it for about 5 kilometers until you reach the railway walk entrance. There is no entry fee for accessing the walk.
