Walking
If you are starting from the Wanaka town center, head south on Dunmore Street towards the lake. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront area. Once you arrive at the lakeshore, turn left onto the walking path that runs alongside Lake Wanaka. Follow this path for approximately 1 km, enjoying the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see signs for Roys Bay Recreational Reserve (Dinosaur Park) on your right. The entrance to the park will be easily identifiable, and you can enter to explore the park and enjoy the various facilities.

Bicycling
From the Wanaka town center, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Once you have your bike, head south on Dunmore Street towards the lake. Turn left onto the lakeside path, which is suitable for cyclists. Continue along the path, staying close to the shoreline. After approximately 1 km, you will reach Roys Bay Recreational Reserve (Dinosaur Park) on your right. The ride should take around 10 minutes, and you can park your bike at the designated bike racks near the entrance to the park.
