Once you get off the bus, look for signs directing you to Skippers Township Museum, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Wanaka. Make your way towards the Lake Wanaka waterfront and follow the cycle path that leads out of town. You'll head towards the Cardrona Valley Road. After cycling for approximately 15 km, you will need to take a right onto Skippers Road. Continue cycling on Skippers Road for about 5 km until you reach 1930 Skippers Road, where the Skippers Township Museum is located. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay cautious of the traffic.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Wanaka town center. Head towards the edge of the lake and follow the walking path along Lake Wanaka. After about 3 km, you will reach the junction where you can turn onto Cardrona Valley Road.
